Following on from last year’s roaring success, GGH Hire and The Guild once again put on their annual charity golf day in aid of the London Construction Charity Lunch with the beautiful setting at Brocket Hall Golf Club once again providing the backdrop for what was a superb day of golfing.
The Charity is well known for supporting a diverse range of good causes and donates to charities in and out of construction but also supports individuals and their families in a time of need. The good work is celebrated at the annual dinner at Lords Cricket Ground at the end of each year, which both GGH Hire and The Guild are proud to support.
The weather was generally kind to us again, although a stiff breeze caused a few problems around the various water hazards! Rounding off with a great buffet and the usual prize giving and raffle, the day saw a fantastic total of £20,000 raised for the cause.
Steve Cooper said, “Over 120 people supported the event this year and it was sold out in a matter of days. It was fantastic to once again work with Gerry and his team at GGH Hire to raise money for such a worthy cause. I want to thank everyone involved for their generosity and making the day such a success.”
